Right-click or control -click the blank space in the list of printers, and then click Reset printing system.

After resetting the printing system, go to 123.hp.com, search for your printer, and then install the recommended software.

If you do not meet these requirements, you can manually attach the file to an email message by saving the scan to a folder on the computer.

If HP Easy Scan has the option to save scans as RTF or TXT files, you can scan documents that you can edit.

If you have not installed the driver yet, go to 123.hp.com, type your printer model, and then follow the instructions to complete the printer setup.
